Welcome to Up:Start Music... Born out of the frustration of the state of the current break-beat scene & the music industry with no one willing to take a risk on new artists & the backlash of the credit crunch, Up:Start Music’s aim is to release break-beat led, dance floor friendly music that suits a range of styles & tastes. This is along with some electro & jackin' beats thrown in as well, mainly in the forms of remixes. Up:Start Music plans to release 1 original artists EP every 6 weeks or so with the label's debut release, d*FUNK's 'Bust This EP’ featuring MC Manic, being released in March '09. To begin with Up:Start Music will be a download only label, distributed intensively across a broad number of music download web sites both in Europe & USA.
